The role:
We are looking for a compassionate Supported Housing Worker to deliver high-quality, person-centred support at Rackfield House. In this role, you will ensure our supported housing services are delivered equitably, efficiently, and in line with our policies, creating a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment for residents. Working as part of an outcome-focused team, you will support clients in managing their wellbeing, maximising their income, and achieving a positive move to independence in the community.
To provide the best support possible and stay closely connected with the team and residents, this is a site-based role, Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, pro rata..

* Provide outcome-focused, person-centred support to vulnerable adults, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, equitably, and in line with best practice and organisational policies.
* Work in a trauma-informed way, maintaining a professional, friendly atmosphere.
* Keep up-to-date, accurate records of client interactions, risk assessments and service delivery, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and contributing to performance reporting and audits.
* Empower resident to improve involvement in community activities, support networks, and local services, building confidence, independence, and long-term housing solutions.
* Participate in team activities such as identifying opportunities for service improvement and engaging in ongoing training and development.

For this role we are looking for individuals who have:
* Experience of supporting homeless vulnerable adults or others.
* Experience in risk assessment, risk management and support planning.
* Excellent customer service skills and relevant experience in a customer facing role.
* Ability to deal with challenging situations calmly and assertively.
* Experience of building and maintaining effective partnerships and links with a range of external organisations.
* Experience of managing a caseload.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office package including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
* Ability to research best practice and ensure this is incorporated effectively.
* Compassionate and empathetic.
* Adaptable to change.
* Good communication skills.
An enhanced DBS check will be obtained upon successful appointment of this role.
