The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority ("the Authority") regulates firms engaged in financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, investments, fiduciary services and fund administration. The Authority is also responsible for oversight of anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance for those involved in the financial sector as well as a range of other Designated Businesses and has oversight of compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Act 2017.
AML/CFT SUPERVISION DIVISION - VACANCIES
The Authority is seeking to fill a number of vacancies within the AML/CFT Supervision Division. This is an interesting time to join the Authority to help us deliver our objectives which include an updated approach to supervision and oversight, enhanced data management and analytics and the reduction of financial crime. The successful candidates will join an existing Division who plan and undertake on and off site supervision, encourage the increasing of compliance by supervised entities and support colleagues across the Authority with AML/CFT requirements. Successful candidates will be enthusiastic team players who can demonstrate some of the following attributes:
At Manager level:
* extensive relevant financial services y experience in an operational, compliance, regulatory, risk or audit role with experience in AML/CFT matters.
* to hold, or be willing to work towards, a relevant professional qualification.
* a well-developed working knowledge of financial services, including designated businesses and associated legislation and guidance, including trends and developments.
* strong analytical skills, ability to quickly and accurately assimilate information, to consider any associated risks and to summarise the information effectively.
* ability to work under pressure, manage a workload of varied complexity, to manage competing priorities and to deliver against deadlines.
