Job:
C4C is highly R&D driven, with ongoing projects to scale up innovative products. We seek an experienced scientist to lead research activities, contribute to project proposals, and help expand our R&D efforts. This role offers significant growth in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and candidate specifications include:
* PhD in Chemistry
* 5+ years post-PhD experience
* Experience with CO2 capture, recycling, reduction technologies
* Expertise in synthesis, modification, and full characterization of functional materials
* Proven project management and leadership in R&D
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot
* Knowledge of funding mechanisms, grant applications, and industry collaborations
* Experience with patent writing and grant proposals
* Understanding of concrete and cement chemistry
* Ability to manage R&D projects, review proposals, and contribute to funded projects
* Lead research activities, design experiments, evaluate materials
* Mentor team members and ensure project goals are met
* Develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage resources
* Stay compliant with relevant laws and policies
* Prepare reports, publications, and presentations
* Engage with stakeholders and communicate R&D progress
