The role:
You’ll support the design and delivery of our internal communications strategies to engage our people in Bupa’s purpose, strategic framework and values.
Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, Health Services, you’ll deliver the internal communications plan for the Cromwell Hospital and Health Services business unit.
You’ll ensure connection across the Internal Communications, External Communication teams (Brand and PR) and with stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive employee engagement.
What you’ll do:
Support with the execution of the internal communications strategy for the Health Services business, and specifically the Cromwell Hospital, to align with Market Unit approach.
Plan, edit and write content for internal communications channels.
Support with the day-to-day management of internal communications channels such as Workvivo, hospital bulletins.
Ensure successful delivery of internal events including leadership meetings, all employee events and awards, executive team visibility plan.
Plan and deliver annual reward and recognition campaigns.
Be the communications contact and lead on working groups related to both hospital growth as well as key priorities including the hospital’s diversity and inclusion agenda, sustainability commitments, the GREEN team.
Work closely with the People team to ensure the successful rhythm of internal communications across the business on key initiatives and campaigns.
Support the HR Co-ordinator in managing digital screens and hospital noticeboards.
You:
Demonstrable excellence in internal communications particularly in clinical settings with an understanding of a hospital environment
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
Creative ability to design and deliver internal communications content in a simple and engaging way.
Experience in event design and delivery.
Meticulous planner with exceptional attention to detail and an eye for accuracy.
Customer-centric mindset and approach.
Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work across different functions and with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
Resilient and calm. Able to manage an unpredictable workload to meet changing requirements and switch confidently and knowledgeably between priorities.
Commercial mindset, ensuring that agenda is positioned within the broader business and wider industry/economic context.
