Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a Project Manager to lead a critical Infrastructure Migration Project focused on implementing OpenShift across multi-cloud, hybrid, or on-prem environments. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional technical teams, and ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while aligning with banking governance and regulatory standards.
What you will do:
* Lead the migration program from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
* Develop and maintain detailed program plans, budgets, risk registers, and dependency maps.
* Coordinate technical streams to ensure integrated designs and successful migration outcomes.
* Oversee production of high-quality documentation, including recovery runbooks and architectural designs.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all program stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and reporting.
* Liaise with business and technical teams to capture requirements and align with client governance and compliance standards.
* Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and executive reporting on progress, risks, and issues.
* Manage and align activities across specialized roles: OpenShift Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, Automation Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Administrators.
* Ensure collaboration between streams to support automation, integration, and platform stability during migration.
* Manage third-party vendors and ensure timely delivery of contracted services.
* Track program costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
* Drive proactive risk identification, mitigation strategies, and issue resolution across all streams.
* Maintain compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards throughout the migration program.
Qualifications
* Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure migration programs within financial services.
* Strong understanding of systems architecture, operational processes, and OpenShift platform fundamentals.
* Excellent organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
