JOB TITLE: Logistics and Sales Administrator
Opportunity for an organised and flexible administrator to join a growing global business in Northampton.
Purpose of the Role: To manage all aspects of logistics and sales administration, acting as the first point of contact for key customers and ANZCO NZ regarding order management, shipping, and information requests. The role supports the Logistics Manager, Commercial Manager, and General Manager by handling data management and accuracy of sales and logistics information. It also involves covering the Logistics Manager during absences and contributing as part of a small team.
Responsibilities
* Verify import documentation and liaise with ANZCO NZ to correct errors.
* Request PINs, book shipments, and communicate with hauliers.
* Send shipment reports to customers and handle ad hoc inquiries.
* Update logistics logs with ETAs and dispatch details.
* Assist the Logistics Manager during leave periods.
* Manage orders between ANZCO NZ/Itoham Japan and customers for regular programs.
* Input sales data into ANZCO systems and confirm with customers.
* Handle customer-specific sales tasks and manage important documents like specs and certifications.
* Oversee customer purchasing and supply chain systems.
* Create and share stock availability reports with the sales team.
* Coordinate onboarding of new customers.
Additional Duties
* Manage office landline and courier samples.
* Oversee holiday schedules, office supplies, and expense records.
* Potentially manage smaller customer accounts.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, highly organised, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently, adapt to a small team environment, and assist with various tasks is essential.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in logistics or sales administration (essential).
* Knowledge of the industry (desirable).
