Type : Full Time
Compensation: $75,000 - $150,000 expected 1st year earnings in a draw plus uncapped commission-based payment structure with excellent earning potential.

We have an opportunity for a Brokerage Director specializing in Life Insurance. In this role, you will be challenged to manage clients and a workload offering unique, dynamic strategies and customizable support. The Brokerage Director role is responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing relationships with financial professionals to drive Life Insurance, Long-Term Care and Disability Insurance product sales. The role will focus on strategic engagement, consultative selling, and delivering best-in-class support to independent advisors, broker-dealers, RIAs, and multi-line producers.
Education Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Life, Variable Life, Series 6 or 7, and or Series 24, or Series 63 at a minimum
Responsibilities:
3. Recruit new financial professionals and re-engage inactive producers
4. Build deep penetration within assigned entities and territories
5. Foster and enhance relationships with traditional insurance agents, broker-dealers, RIA’s producer groups and P&C firms while continuing to recruit new relationships
6. Drive target premium sales through third-party producers
7. Drive sales by promoting Life, Long-Term Care and Disability Insurance products and collaborate with annuity team through cross-referrals
8. Implement company supported sales concepts aligned with compliance and industry standards
9. Provide expert case design and sales presentation support
10. Engage in continuous training, practice enhancement, and peer support programs
11. Collaborate with New Business, Underwriting and Marketing teams for carrier/product recommendations and pricing alternatives
12. Leverage CRM/Sales Force tools for reporting, documentation, and customer profiling
13. Meet or exceed stated production expectations
Basic Requirements:
14. Minimum 8-10 years in life insurance sales, wholesaling, or brokerage territory management experience
15. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
16. Strategic planning and relationship management
17. Familiarity with CRM/Sales Force
18. Familiarity with the Life Insurance Underwriting process
19. Self-starter, actively pursuing sales outlets and opportunities
20. Demonstrated confidence and tenacity to strengthen and continue client relationships
21. Strong presentation skills for internal teams, executives, and clients
22. Ability to present concepts to groups of varying sizes
23. Proven success in working with financial professionals in a brokerage capacity
Preferred Requirements:
24. CLU, ChFC, CFP preferred
25. Willingness to continue with designations
26. Ability to travel
