Job Description - HR Generalist (Temporary Contract)
Location: Evesham (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days home)
Pay Rate: £20.51 per hour
Contract: Temporary - Holiday Cover Until Christmas
Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday)
Overview
We are supporting our client in the search for a capable HR Generalist who can hit the ground running and provide seamless support to their internal HR team. This role is holiday cover until Christmas and requires someone confident in general HR functions - a CIPD qualification is not required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support end-to-end recruitment processes including:
Reviewing candidates and CVs
Assisting with interviews
Producing offer letters and employment contracts
2. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
3. Handle general HR administration and maintain employee records.
4. Support basic employee relations matters and act as a first point of contact for HR-related queries.
5. Build and maintain strong internal relationships across the wider team.
6. Monitor and investigate sickness/absence and escalate where required.
7. Support HR projects and ensure smooth day-to-day department operations.
Requirements
8. Ideally 5+ years' experience in a HR, recruitment or HR-supporting role.
9. Ability to step in confidently and support an existing HR team with minimal supervision.
10. Strong understanding of HR processes, recruitment and basic ER practice.
11. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
12. Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
13. Able to work onsite 3 days per week (2 from home).
14. Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
