We are looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch. This position is responsible for all Food and Beverage operations, including culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service. The manager oversees guest and employee satisfaction, maintains standards, and meets or exceeds financial goals. Knowledge of applicable food and beverage laws and regulations is essential. The role also involves developing and implementing business plans for food and beverage.
Candidate Profile
Experience and education requirements include at least 2 years of managing and leading teams, and 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related fields, preferably in hotels.
Core Responsibilities
1. Developing and Maintaining Budgets: Manage financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans. Maintain a positive cost management index and utilize budgets to meet financial objectives.
2. Leading Food and Beverage Team: Manage all departments (excluding catering sales), supervise employees, oversee daily operations, and lead by example. Foster a motivating, empowering, team-oriented environment. Provide coaching, set goals, and ensure standards are met.
3. Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver excellent service, respond proactively to guest concerns, and promote the brand’s service culture. Manage guest complaints and ensure banquet functions exceed expectations.
4. Managing Human Resources Activities: Guide and monitor staff performance, conduct reviews, promote fair treatment, identify developmental needs, and develop training programs.
5. Additional Responsibilities: Comply with corporate accounting procedures, facilitate effective communication, and ensure operational standards are maintained daily.
