Heritage Portfolio are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor at the V&A Dundee. As our Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth, friendly, and professional operation of food services across in Tatha restaurant and bar, conferencing and hospitality events.
This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, organisation, and customer service, offering variety and impact every day.
Hours of work will predominately be 0900 – 1730, however there will be a requirement to support events business in evenings as required.

Job responsibilities
3. Oversee day-to-day FOH operations in dining areas and hospitality functions
4. Supervise and support your team to maintain exceptional service standards
5. Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and presentation meet company and legal standards
6. Deliver excellent customer service and act as a visible point of leadership during service
7. Provide training and coaching to FOH staff
8. Coordinate service during events
9. Support back-of-house service where needed, fostering collaboration across teams
10. Manage stock control, ordering, and administration including cleaning and temperature records
11. Ensure the team upholds all health & safety procedures and allergen protocols
What we are looking for
12. Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within catering or hospitality
13. Excellent organisational and time-management skills
14. Natural leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills
15. Able to handle fast-paced service with a calm, customer-focused attitude
16. Flexible approach to shift patterns
17. Ensure that all Health & Safety legislation is carried out correctly and recorded as necessary. This includes all HACCP and COSHH responsibilities, as well as EHO visits, Fire Evacuation Procedure, First Aid at Work and safe working practices at all times. Maintain a focus on food allergens and customer information.
