Duties as Maintenance Fitter: Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across all plant machinery and equipment. Diagnosing and repairing faults to minimise downtime. Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards. Repair and replace faulty components using welding, mechanical knowledge, and experience. General repairs throughout the factory. Requirements: Time-served Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours work when required.
