Kitchen Porter Supervisor – Hotel in Wembley We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter Supervisor for a busy hotel kitchen in Wembley. This is a full-time, ongoing role for the right candidate, working on a rota basis. You will be responsible for supervising the kitchen porter team and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation are maintained at all times. Job overview Role: Kitchen Porter Supervisor Location: Wembley Pay rate: £12.60 per hour plus holiday accrual Working Hours: rota based, between Mon-Sun As Kitchen Porter Supervisor, you will work closely with the kitchen management team to keep the back-of-house running smoothly. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with previous kitchen porter experience who is ready to take on more responsibility. Key responsibilities • Supervise and support the kitchen porter team during shifts. • Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to hotel and food safety standards. • Organise daily tasks and rotas for kitchen porters. • Monitor stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages. • Support chefs and kitchen staff when needed, especially during busy periods. • Ensure health and safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times. Requirements • Previous experience as a kitchen porter is essential. • Experience in a supervisory or senior kitchen porter role is preferred. • Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards. • Ability to lead a team and stay organised under pressure. • Flexibility to work a rota, including weekends. • Reliable, punctual and able to work full time.
