The role
supports the firm’s talent, development and coaching strategy by creating high quality learning experiences that enable organisational priorities and individual growth. Working within a collaborative and creative learning design team, the position involves understanding business needs and designing, curating or creating firmwide programme content that delivers meaningful outcomes and uses innovative learning approaches. Reporting to the Firmwide Portfolio and Strategy Lead, the Senior Design Consultant leads the design and development of programmes, applies learning design methodologies, authors and reviews content, and ensures strong project and risk management to meet the firm’s development requirements.
What your days will look like:
1. Partner with strategy leads, learning teams and key stakeholders to scope, resource and deliver programmes, managing priorities, risks and overall progress
2. Build strong relationships with sponsors, subject matter experts and business partners to inform programme design and evaluate impact
3. Design, curate and quality‑assure programme content—facilitating workshops, overseeing complex content creation and ensuring alignment with learning objectives, timelines and budgets
4. Foster an innovative, collaborative team culture by applying best‑practice processes, supporting development, sharing knowledge and driving continuous improvement
This role is for you if:
5. You have demonstrable experience delivering firmwide programmes and applying learning and development principles, including adult learning theory
6. You have strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across diverse perspectives
7. You have knowledge of digital learning solutions and technologies, and how they enhance and transform learning experiences
8. You are skilled in project and risk management, with strong organisational and analytical abilities to identify issues and implement effective solutions
9. You have proven capability in leading, coaching and developing teams, fostering a positive, proactive and solutions‑focused environment
10. You are commercially aware, creative and curious, with experience managing substantial budgets, understanding business priorities and applying innovative thinking in a global, inclusive context
