Role and Responsibilities
* Provide support to teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support students with their social and emotional development.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements
* Direct or transferable experience working with children, preferably in a special needs setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with special needs.
* Ideally, possess a DBS on the update service. If not, must be willing to obtain one.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Additional training such as British Sign Language is desirable
