Job summary
JOB TITLE: Sessional Clinician: Qualified Clinical Psychologist or Child and Family Psychotherapist
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, skilled, and engaging Sessional Clinician to facilitate well-established online support groups designed for parents and caregivers of children aged 5-16 years, including those with neurodevelopmental presentations such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other behavioural challenges. These structured groups help parents build skills, share experiences, and feel supported in navigating the complexities of parenting through developmental transitions and family dynamics. These groups also provide a supportive space for parents and caregivers to connect through the challenges of parenting.
The clinician will deliver sessions using existing program materials and frameworks, ensuring fidelity to the model while bringing warmth, flexibility, and clinical insight to each group. The aim of the group is to create a supportive and safe environment for parents and carers impacted by the mental health of the young people they are responsible for, bridging the gap between traditional mental health services for children and young people and parental support services.
