We are looking for experienced support workers seeking nighttime work in the NG10 area of Nottingham.
Role Overview
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our close-knit care team, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and support. Your responsibilities include assisting with nightly routines, promoting independence, and prioritizing residents' overall health and happiness.
Additional Duties
1. Personalised Care:
o Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan.
o Provide hands-on help and thoughtful attention to individual needs.
o Monitor residents’ health and communicate concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.
o Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
2. Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff to create a welcoming environment.
3. Safety and Comfort: Collaborate with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond promptly to emergencies or call bells.
4. Nutritional Support: Assist residents with eating and drinking to meet their nutritional needs.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar care environment.
* Checkable work history.
* Up-to-date mandatory training documents (Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, Infection Control). Online training available for a fee if needed.
* In-date enhanced DBS check. Assistance can be provided if your DBS has expired.

Additional Information
This is an ongoing opportunity. The typical hours are from 22:00 to 07:00, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is £12.75, with 28 days of accrued holiday pay.
