The Role:
As Business Services Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of clients, lead a team of accountants and support the current Partner. This role offers a platform to drive innovation, shape service delivery and prepare for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow relationships with clients, delivering tailored services.
* Oversee accounts preparation, corporation tax, VAT, and bookkeeping, ensuring compliance.
* Provide strategic financial advice, including tax planning and growth strategies.
* Mentor and supervise staff, fostering their development.
* Support business development and client onboarding.
* Contribute to firm-wide initiatives via committees.
Who We're Looking For:
* ACCA, ICAS, or equivalent (qualified or part-qualified) with UK accountancy practice experience.
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations for small businesses.
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
* Team management experience preferred but not essential.
* Proficient in accounting software.
* Proactive, commercially minded and aligned with values of collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
