Please note that training can be provided if not BAFE qualified; however, the starting salary will reflect the training period.
Key Purpose Of The Job
The core focus of this role is to carry out maintenance, reactive calls, and installation of fire extinguishers in accordance with British Standard 5306 Part 3 2017. You will be working with a team of 7 extinguisher technicians nationally.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Installing, servicing, and maintaining portable fire extinguishers for national, key, and local accounts.
* Working in line with current standards and customer requirements.
* Planning and completing call visits within the nominated area to ensure maximum efficiency and optimal resource use.
* Building professional relationships with a wide client base through effective communication.
* Managing area planning to maximize travel time and time on customer premises to achieve KPIs.
* Communicating effectively with customers about system/equipment status.
* Providing excellent customer service at all times.
* Managing and securing vehicle stock, tools, and equipment.
* Completing site surveys for new and additional equipment.
* Working safely in line with company and customer health and safety procedures.
* Performing any other reasonable tasks assigned by management.
* Ensuring health, safety, and welfare of oneself and team according to company policy.
Requirements
Essential:
* BAFE SP101 registered fire extinguisher technician.
* Experience in front-line customer service.
* Ability to work independently and solve problems.
* Full driving license.
* Flexibility to travel for work and training.
* Self-motivated.
