We are looking for experienced and reliable Site Fitters to join our team for immediate work on high-spec architectural metalwork installations. The primary focus will be installing balustrades (balistre) on residential and commercial sites.
This role is strictly for qualified site fitters who hold a valid NVQ Blue Skilled Worker Card.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install architectural metalwork, mainly balustrades / balistre, to a high standard
* Work from site drawings, plans, and instructions
* Accurately measure, drill, fix, and align components on site
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
* Follow all site health & safety rules and wear appropriate PPE
* Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades
Requirements:
? Proven experience fitting balustrades, handrails, staircases, or similar metalwork
? Competent with hand and power tools
? Solid understanding of site health & safety practices
? NVQ Blue Skilled Worker Card (essential – must have to start)
? Physically fit and confident with manual handling
? Punctual, reliable, and a positive team player
? Able to read and work from basic site drawings
Desirable:
* PASMA, IPAF, or Manual Handling certification
* Driving licence and own transport
