Responsibilities
* Driving market success by adopting and championing new technologies, tools, solutions and ways of working, working directly with clients and account teams.
* Developing design and architecture of technology and data solutions, ensuring alignment with global standards and tailoring them to client and EY delivery environments.
* Managing client accounts end‑to‑end, from implementation through service delivery, ensuring successful deployment of agreed solutions and overseeing ongoing operations to meet performance and quality standards.
* Contributing to the evolution of firm‑wide tools, technologies, and processes by applying deep business insights, technical expertise, and market experience gained through direct client engagements.
* Responsible for TDO activities across the full engagement lifecycle, including proposal writing, pitches to clients, managing resources, defining and driving processes to deliver services, and leading daily operations on client projects.
* Working with a broad network of account, tax technical, financial and tax compliance teams representing the TDO team.
* Supporting the continuing evolution and implementation of new technologies and standards to transform service delivery.
* Deploying and positioning market‑leading technologies and solutions internally and directly to clients.
* Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a client‑facing environment while coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong client‑relationship management skills with the ability to develop high‑quality outputs and navigate complex situations.
* Experience and understanding of technology deployment models (requirements, design, implementation) and data management/operations.
* Experience delivering complex client projects involving technology, transformation and data operations.
* Experience working in and managing a virtual team across multiple locations with varied skill sets.
* Effective time management and the ability to remain collected under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Capable of thinking outside the box to solve business and operational challenges through a lens of technology, data and automation.
* Collaborative ability to manage and work with a broad group of stakeholders.
* Clear communication of technical and/or complex messages in simple terms.
* Degree‑level qualification in accounting and/or tax, or a proven work record in a professional services environment.
* Knowledge in data automation, transformation, cloud computing and compliance technologies.
* Experience or understanding of core ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
* Business development skills, including the ability to present and pitch ideas and technology internally and externally.

The Tax Technology and Data Operations (TDO) team is part of the Global Tax Center of Excellence (Global Tax CoE) and works with the firm’s most challenging, complex, multi‑jurisdiction clients. The team focuses on technology and data operations across the entire engagement lifecycle.
