Duties of the post: General Office: Working in the admin office within the staff team on a rotation basis, under the guidance of the reception manager Logging a variety of information into patient records on the computer and operating various computer systems Covering telephones (training will be provided) Scanning incoming correspondence into patient records, using the in-house scanning system (training will be provided) Reception/Appointments Desk: Working on reception and handling all patient enquiries as the first line of contact Logging patient arrivals, booking appointments and utilising the full range of services provided with the electronic appointments system (training will be provided) Basic Prescriptions Administration: The practice operates an electronic prescription system. The prescription requests are received continually and must be processed within two working days.
