While previous experience as a Support Worker would be desirable, we recruit based on values and transferable skills. Our fantastic Learning and Development team will provide all the training you need, including the opportunity to complete a fully funded SVQ.
For this role it is essential that you hold a full UK, manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 years' driving experience as some of the individuals we support have their own mobility cars.
The Role
Blackford is a purpose built complex of two homes conjoined by a staff area and support 8 gents with a mixture of Autism, learning disabilities, Downs Syndrome, complex needs and behaviours of concern. Each supported individual has their own room and ensuite built to their needs and share a communal area, kitchen, activities room and large garden with an outdoor gym.
