Job Summary
The Food and Beverage Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring a high standard of service within our establishment. This position involves assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the food and beverage industry, with experience in bar work and hospitality.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to meet quality standards.
* Serve food and prepare drinks for our guests in a timely and courteous manner.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest enquiries and requests promptly.
* Assist with catering events as required, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
* Experience in catering or bar roles is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
