I am representing a council in the South West Area are looking for a Principal/Senior Planning Officer on a 6 month initial contract.
The role will involve dealing with a caseload of complex planning applications, including attendance at planning committee. Ideally, we would also be looking for someone who can support with informal mentoring of junior colleagues, but this is not essential. The successful candidate would need to be able to attend the CDC offices once per week but can do once a fortnight but with some flexibility to accommodate committee, pre-application and team meetings.
