About the role
Arup is seeking a Senior Construction Planner to support design teams across multiple regions. The role involves developing construction programmes, phasing diagrams, and reports across all project stages—from feasibility to construction completion.
Key responsibilities
* Produce construction programmes using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
* Compile construction phasing diagrams, time‑location charts, and other visual tools to communicate project phasing and site logistics.
* Create construction‑planning reports explaining programmes, phasing, risks, opportunities, and assumptions.
* Present findings to clients and internal project teams.
* Collaborate with planners, schedulers, designers, and project managers to enhance Arup’s construction‑planning capabilities.
Requirements
* Understanding of modern construction methods, constructability issues, and logistics.
* Knowledge of planning and scheduling approaches.
* Degree in a related discipline.
* Passion for the evolving construction industry, particularly around carbon footprint and environmental impact.
* Aim to apply new technologies (e.g., 4D construction planning) to improve communication.
* Ability to build relationships across Arup teams.
