Training Specialist Job Description

The Amazon Last Mile learning team is seeking a Training Specialist to support operations training in the last mile vertical. The overall responsibility includes boosting the competencies of our employees by developing and conducting effective training programs. The person will indirectly help enhance employee workplace performance in alignment with the company’s core values to meet organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities
1. Supervise structured learning metrics and oversee their results for assigned sites.
2. Manage live performance metrics end-to-end for assigned sites.
3. Maintain data and analysis through reports on Excel as per business requirements.
4. Ensure timely completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and other performance improvement initiatives.
5. Partner with operations leaders during site audits to check process compliance and address gaps immediately.
6. Identify and certify learning coaches.
7. Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in customer service and project handling is an advantage.
* Ability to translate content into regional languages.
* Support existing data management through analysis and reporting.
* Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Graduation in any field.
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work on weekends if required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Training Specialist or Trainer in a similar role.
* Good communication skills.
* Knowledge of local language (Kannada) for ground team interaction.
