We are seeking an experienced Google Workspace Administrator to join a major government digital transformation programme. You will support and enhance a large Google Workspace environment (13,000+ users) and act as the SME for Google Workspace services.
Hybrid 2 days per week on site London/Manchester or Bristol
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Admin Console, AODocs)
Act as escalation point for service desk and Google related issues
Ensure secure configuration, updates and best practice management
Manage tickets, support ongoing projects and deliver small scale project work
Support data migrations into/out of Google Workspace
Work with security, records management and project teams
Maintain documentation, knowledge articles and process guides
Liaise with Google and partner organisations
Essential Experience
Valid SC Clearance
3rd line support experience in a busy IT environment
Managing large Google Workspace domains SaaS messaging platforms
Strong understanding of email protocols security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA;STS)
Experience with GAM commands, DNS management and data migration tools
Ability to run multiple projects and engage senior stakeholders
