Multi-Drop Night Delivery Driver (Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour (pay increase upon permanent contract)
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Night Multi-Drop Delivery Driver on a temp-to-perm basis.
This role involves multi-drop deliveries to customer premises such as shops and wholesale outlets (e.g. Job Lot). On busy nights, drivers may complete up to 100 drops.
All deliveries are based within the South Yorkshire area, including Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, and Barnsley.
Role Details:
* Delivering baked goods to customer premises
* All products are pre-packed into baskets
* Drivers are responsible for loading baskets into the van (loads may vary from 1 to 5 baskets per stop)
* Some deliveries require access to customer premises; drivers will be issued keys and must ensure properties are securely locked after delivery
* Some routes may involve cash handling
* Baskets are generally lightweight
Additional Information:
* Temp-to-perm opportunity with increased pay upon successful completion of probation
* Sunday working is required
* Start times between 21:00 and 23:00
* Night shifts covering routes across South Yorkshire
Requirements:
* Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
* Confident and able to work independently
* Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential
* Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy due to key-holding responsibilities
* Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points preferred)
