Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in an impeccable condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
* Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
* Handle waste disposal efficiently and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
* Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning products as needed.
* Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages promptly.
* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
* Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including carpet cleaning or window washing.
* Support team members in achieving overall cleanliness targets within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is preferred.
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
* Excellent time management skills to complete duties within allocated periods.
* Customer service skills are a plus for roles involving interaction with clients or guests.
