The Role
* Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, covering both compliance cycles and advisory mandates across a range of South West sectors.
* Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns, ensuring technical accuracy and identifying planning opportunities at the earliest stage.
* Advise on matters including R&D tax relief, capital allowances, group tax planning, and the tax implications of corporate restructures.
* Build and maintain direct client relationships, acting as the day-to-day point of contact for business owners and Finance Directors.
* Support and develop more junior members of the Plymouth tax team, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
About You
* Qualified (CTA, ACA, or ACCA) with a strong corporate tax background developed within a practice environment.
* Solid grounding in corporate tax compliance and a growing comfort level with advisory work.
* Confident managing a client portfolio with direct contact and the ability to explain technical positions in accessible terms.
* Organised, thorough, and capable of managing your own workload alongside team supervision.
* Eager to develop technically and take on a broader advisory role as the firm continues to grow.
