Design and Technology Teacher – Honiton Location: Honiton, Devon Start Date: September 2025 Position Type: Full-time (part-time considered) Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a creative and committed Design and Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Honiton area from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through practical, hands-on learning and contribute to a thriving DT department. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and innovative DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking Maintain a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment Assess and track student progress, providing clear feedback and support Contribute to the development of the DT curriculum and extra-curricular activities Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialism in Design and Technology or a related subject Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Knowledge of health and safety protocols in practical environments Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
