Position Purpose
We are seeking a Freelance Screen Producer to support the execution of the screen programme for SXSW London, the large scale multi-disciplinary festival. This person will act as the central point of communication across internal project teams, vendors and our festival client, ensuring seamless coordination of screen content.
The ideal candidate is an execution-minded, highly organised producer, with a strong operational knowledge of film festival delivery. They are confident in translating creative intent into actionable production plans and are adept at managing technical documentation, advancing tools, timelines, and cross-functional communication to ensure smooth delivery from advance through to on-site execution. They are highly motivated to deliver a premium guest experience to all attendees, from filmmakers to ticket holders.
Candidates should based in London. This application is not for full-time employment.
Contract Length: April – June 2026. (Up to 4-5 days a week in April & May, depending on availability). Onsite 30th May – 7th June.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of communication for our client, the SXSW London Screen Festival team, relaying and advancing key action items in collaboration with internal project teams, vendors and client stakeholders.
* Advance and manage production workflows for films, screen-based events and immersive experiences, considering content delivery pipelines and on-site operational requirements
* Lead client and internal meetings and venue reccees relating to Screen Festival elements, providing clear updates, trackable actions and follow up documentation.
* Collaborate with operational teams to ensure that all ticket allocations and guestlists are managed and executed.
* Create and circulate advancing materials relating to screen infrastructure and content delivery.
* Maintain and update scheduling platforms with accurate master documentation and filmmaker requirements.
* Support with final communication to filmmakers and Screen Festival guests, ensuring clear, professional and consistent messaging.
* Support the Print Transport Manager to ensure that all content is delivered promptly and securely to the core Festival venues.
* Collaborate with wider project producing team to relay key information in support of wider festival planning.
* Oversee on-site execution, including troubleshooting and support of smooth day-to-day operations.

* This role in particular does have fluidity to it and may vary based on project needs.
Position Requirements
* Experience working in film festival operations, guest management and delivery.
* Demonstrable experience working with cinema venues.
* Working understanding of LED and projection systems, media servers, content playback and technical integration.
* Working knowledge of immersive technologies.
* Experience advancing technical requirements with vendors and creatives
* Highly organised and detail orientated, with a solutions driven mindset and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
* A passion for film and TV.
