Harvester Driver / Engineer – Essex - £40,000 + Accommodation
The Job:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Harvester Driver / Engineer to join a busy and well-established agricultural business in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern machinery in a supportive and dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for:
* Operating combine harvesters and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
* Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues
* Assisting with harvesting operations and machinery logistics
* Supporting the engineering team with repairs and preventative maintenance
The Candidate:
Experience driving and operating combine harvesters or similar agricultural machinery
* A strong mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery repairs
* Flexibility to work long days during peak harvesting periods
* A full UK driving licence (Class C/E preferable)
* A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
The Package:
* Competitive salary, circa £40k
* Accommodation provided at a subsidised rate (only £250/month; with market value at £750-£1000)
* Varied role with both tractor work and workshop engineering
