Overview
We are recruiting for a dedicated qualified Electrician to join Walsall College as a Lecturer in Electrical Installation who will deliver motivating and inspiring teaching and learning to unleash the potential of our students.
You will hold appropriate electrical qualifications and teaching qualifications are preferred, i.e. DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent. This role also provides an opportunity for a highly knowledgeable and experienced person currently working in industry to move into a Further Education and skills setting. Funded and supported teacher training will be provided.
Experience in delivering Solar PV, EV charging and wiring regulations would be advantageous. Relevant industry experience would be highly beneficial, and a relevant teaching qualification with funding options will be provided to support someone from industry in succeeding in a new-to-teaching role.
