To work as part of a facilities team at UHDB, you will primarily be based at Burton Hospital in the Catering stores and also responsible for driving Trust vehicles to other sites for deliveries.
The role is varied and engaging, requiring initiative, awareness, and good communication skills. You must be able to work as part of a team and have a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays, to meet the department's needs.

* Receiving all food and non-food items for the Catering Department and Trust’s Retail Outlets, ensuring proper storage and temperature checks according to Trust Food Safety Management System.
* Stamping all goods with the date of delivery into the catering storage.
* Driving, loading, and unloading Trust vehicles around the site(s) to deliver orders, carrying out vehicle safety checks, and reporting defects to the supervisor.
Full training will be provided. A full driving licence, including driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, is essential.
