We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our Highways Maintenance clients. The role will be based near Bar Hill and comes with a salary circa £25,000
Responsibilities for Administrator
Coordinate and manage project documentation, including permits, drawings, and compliance records
Maintain accurate records of site activities, schedules, and resource allocation
Liaise with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth communication
Assist in preparing reports, risk assessments, and method statements
Monitor project timelines and flag delays or issues to relevant teams
Support procurement and invoicing processes, ensuring timely approvals and tracking
Handle general office duties: filing, scheduling meetings, answering calls, and managing correspondenceRequirements for Administrator
Previous experience in an administrative role within a civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure environment
Strong understanding of project workflows and terminology in the civil sector
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management tools
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
