Control Systems Engineer - The Role:
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of bespoke control and power systems. Key responsibilities include:
* Concept design of electrical power and control systems
* Design and implementation of Ethernet and serial communication networks
* PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal and/or Rockwell
* Production of technical documentation (specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc.)
* Providing technical support to clients, both on-site and remotely
* Peer review of engineering designs
* Commissioning support at customer sites (up to 20% travel including international & offshore)
Control Systems Engineer - The Person:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
* A degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
* PLC software experience (Siemens or Rockwell preferred, training can be given)
* Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical (advantageous but not essential)
* Experience in power systems or high-voltage applications (highly desirable)
* Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks with minimal supervision
* Flexibility to travel internationally when required
* Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset
