Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting temp-perm opportunity for a Warehouse Operative with Forklift experience and a drivers licence in Bournemouth. Forklift experience is a MUST for this role, if you have no previous Forklift experience or do not have a valid UK Drivers licence you will not be considered for this role.
Position: Warehouse Operative-Forklift
Days: Monday – Friday
Start date: ASAP
Start time: 07:00-16:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
Location: Bournemouth
Pay Rate: £13.68 (daytime) – £15.69 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.
The successful candidate will have:
1. a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
2. previous Forklift experience- Valid ticket not essential
3. previous picking/packing experience
4. own reliable transport to travel to work
5. physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
Responsibilities:
6. adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
7. maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
8. provide excellent customer service during deliveries
9. safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
10. load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
11. follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
