Offer description

This role provides comprehensive and effective management, co‑ordination, and administration support for the training, education and development of the Foundation Training Programme at the Royal Devon University NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH Northern). The postholder will support the Foundation Training Programme Directors and the Medical Education Manager in coordinating the effective administration of the foundation programme for resident doctors, ensuring that training doctors comply with the Foundation School programme requirements.

The post is based in the Medical Education Centre, North Devon District Hospital. It is a job share with the existing postholder.

Key responsibilities include recording and processing financial reimbursements within Trust policy, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date training records, and providing general administrative support to the Medical Education team.

Required skills and experience: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven experience in administration, flexibility and adaptability, strong IT skills, initiative to meet changing departmental needs, and the ability to work effectively within a busy team.

Working pattern: 2 full days per week (15 hours) worked between Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.

This is a permanent, Band 5 (Salary £32,073 – £39,043 per annum pro rata) position.
