Are you a passionate and enthusiastic MFL Teacher ready to bring French and Spanish to life in the classroom? A forward-thinking secondary school in Basildon is seeking a dynamic language specialist to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals looking to make a difference through language learning.
You’ll be joining a supportive modern foreign languages department that values creativity, culture, and communication. The school offers excellent facilities, strong leadership support, and a curriculum that encourages students to become confident and capable linguists. You’ll be responsible for teaching both French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons at KS3 and KS4.

* Track student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
* Contribute to the wider MFL curriculum and extra-curricular enrichment.
* Promote cultural awareness and global citizenship through teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
* QTS and a degree in MFL, French, Spanish, or a related subject (essential).
* Ability to teach both French and Spanish to KS4 level.
* Open to Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Passion for languages, teaching, and student success.
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
