The Role Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Finance Business Partner will collaborate with different departments to understand forecasts and financial impacts and use this data to develop financial models to support strategic initiatives. The Business Partner will support projects to implement systems that will facilitate the scalability of CNX as a business. Cash forecasting and covenant modelling will be a key attribute of the role. Budgeting and forecasting cycle (in collaboration with Commercial Finance Analyst) Partnering with stakeholders within the business to assist in completing the annual planning and budgeting cycle (incl. quarterly reforecasting cycle) Highlighting key assumptions and drivers underpinning budget holders’ projections Identifying key risks and opportunities in the business and their financial impact Reviewing monthly trading performance (actuals and monthly sales review, S&OP) and implication on forecast Calculating and maintaining KPIs to ensure the ELT and Board have clear insights into departmental level performance Review and maintain fully integrated 3-way model including P&L, BS and cash flow to provide rolling forecasting for 12 -18 months Supply and Demand review Collaborating with Commercial and Supply Chain to understand CNX products dynamic Workin g closing with the Commercial Finance Analyst to review product profitability and communicate outstanding action points Engaging in monthly S&OP review meetings to help shape presentation for Excom review. System implementation Team member and champion of on-going systems development within finance, in particular working within finance and the broader business to facilitate automation of forecasting and budgeting processes. Enhance data integrity and reporting controls to enable agile scenario reporting and analysis Project review Collaborating with the Project management team to help track exceptional spend Producing monthly financial report, tracking against business case Supporting reporting integration for newly acquired businesses Liaising between Financial Controlling and business to ensure correct set-up of Netsuite following acquisitions Adhoc Analysis Support CFO and Director of FP&A in preparation of the monthly reporting pack Developing financial models to support strategic initiatives with support of commercial analyst Monthly net debt and gearing forecasts, highlighting risks and where stakeholder engagement requires you to propose mitigation actions Desired Experience Excellent communication skills Ability to translate financial information into easily understood insights for non financial staff Ability to translate financial information into easily understood insights for non-financial staff Negotiation skills Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills ACMA/ACCA or financial analysis qualifications We want to be Pioneers!
