Job Description
We are seeking two highly skilled Hardware Electronics Engineer to develop and implement safety-critical hardware electronic solutions throughout the development lifecycle. This role requires close collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to meet program requirements, customer needs, and regulatory standards.
Our client are a leading manufacturer of components and sub systems for the aerospace, defence and energy markets worldwide.
The role is for 12 -18 months and is INSIDE IR35 so PAYE applies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, analyse, commission, and verify analogue and digital circuits.
* Develop Hardware Development Plans and ensure traceability of design to requirements.
* Support production with new product introductions and address component obsolescence issues.
* Plan and execute hardware verification and qualification activities.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
* 3-5 years of experience in Hardware Electronic Engineering.
* Proficiency in micro-processor circuitry, digital interface circuitry, analogue signal measurement, and low voltage power supplies.
* Familiarity with design for EMC/EMI, and lightning and voltage transient protection.
* Experience in electronic hardware verification and high integrity design is .
Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate complex engineering concepts clearly.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with PCB layout management.
This role does not require direct supervisory responsibilities but demands a strategic mindset and collaborative work ethic to drive results and ensure accountability. Travel up to 15% may be necessary.
