We are seeking a Junior Service Coordinator to support the wider service coordination function within our Electrical & Fire Services division. This role is focused on providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of engineer scheduling, purchase order processing, job tracking, and client communication. You will work closely with the Service Coordinator and Electrical & Fire Service Manager, assisting with the day-to-day coordination tasks that keep the department running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Provide day-to-day administrative support to the service coordination team Maintain accurate job records, databases, and system updates Process incoming job information and ensure correct data entry Scheduling Support Assist with scheduling and rescheduling of engineers Support diary management and job allocation processes Update scheduling systems with real-time job progress information Help ensure engineers are fully utilised and jobs are allocated correctly Purchase Orders & Job Tracking Assist in raising, tracking, and chasing purchase orders Match purchase orders to job records and completed works Support accurate job lifecycle tracking from start to finish Client & Engineer Communication Support communication with clients regarding job updates and scheduling Relay information between engineers, clients, and the service coordination team Assist in handling general service enquiries and updates General Operational Support Assist with preparing service documentation and reports Support compliance and record-keeping requirements Provide general support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience in administration, customer service, or office support Is organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Has strong communication skills and attention to detail Is willing to learn and develop within a service coordination environment Can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Desirable Experience Exposure to engineering, FM, electrical, fire, HVAC, or service environments Experience working with scheduling systems or CRM/job management platforms Understanding of purchase orders or basic finance/admin processes What You’ll Get Full training and development in service coordination and scheduling Exposure to engineering operations and client service delivery Clear progression into a Service Coordinator role Supportive team environment within a growing business Hands-on experience in a busy operational department
