We are looking to fill the position of Emergency Department Assistant, a role which underpins the safe running and provision of care in our department. If you are keen to engage within the Emergency Department, work as a team to improve the patient journey and be dedicated to ensuring we run as effectively as possibly this job is for you.
To take reasonable action in ensuring patients property is kept safe in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
To escort and direct patients and relatives to other areas within the Emergency Department and the wider hospital, including transferring patients on trolleys and in wheelchairs.
