Purchase Ledger Clerk (Full Time or Part Time)
Luxaviation UK is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Finance team.
Applicants must demonstrate prior experience of processing invoices, credit card transactions and expense claims in a busy Finance function.
We are able to accommodate part-time hours in this role, minimum 3 working days per week.
This position is based in Stapleford Tawney, Essex. Due to the location, it is essential that applicants have a UK driving license and access to a vehicle to commute to our office.
Job Purpose:
* Working with the Finance team to ensure supplier invoices are processed within month-end deadlines.
* Process credit card transactions each month.
* Assist in the production of monthly Aircraft Management Customer invoices to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily processing of supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding.
* Assist in maintaining the shared mailboxes and responding to queries.
* Processing of employee credit card transactions.
* Reconciling credit card postings against the statements.
* Uploading urgent ad-hoc payments and weekly payment runs to bank.
* Creating payment runs in the absence of the AP Supervisor.
* Processing expense claims.
* Reconcile supplier statements on a regular basis, ensuring ledgers are up to date.
* Assist with the preparation of the monthly Aircraft Management Customer invoices.
* Any other ad hoc duties as requested by line manager, Treasury Manager or CFO.
Person Specification:
Essential:
* Prior experience of working within a busy Finance function.
* Experience of working in a multi-currency environment.
* Knowledge of Excel and Word.
* Ability to meet deadlines and multi task under pressure
* Exceptional attention to detail, with a questioning attitude
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Customer service orientated.
Desirable:
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
