Project Manager Band 7 (Fixed term)
We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our small but dynamic innovation team. This role focuses on developing and evaluating new technology with industry and academic colleagues, aimed at improving health and social care delivery.
Candidates must demonstrate a good working knowledge of project management tools and techniques, with experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills, are essential. The candidate should be well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously to deliver assigned projects.
The Planning, Innovation & Programmes Directorate offers a friendly, supportive environment emphasizing team and individual development and wellbeing. The Innovation Hub adopts a flexible mix of home and office working. Most in-person meetings will be in Aberdeen, and travel to attend events and workshops may be required, so a willingness to travel is essential.
This is a 12-month post, available as fixed term or secondment (with your current line manager’s agreement).
For informal enquiries, contact Lorna Cameron at lorna.cameron1@nhs.scot.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday, 9th September in Elgin.
