Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in advanced technology solutions for a Lead Generation Executive to join their commercial team in Lutterworth. This is part of an exciting new Trainee Program designed to develop future sales professionals through hands-on experience, structured learning, and exposure to innovative industrial products.
About the Role
This role is perfect for a driven individual with a passion for sales and the confidence to open doors. You'll be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, social media outreach, and engaging with lapsed accounts. Working closely with the external field sales team, your efforts will directly feed into the sales pipeline and contribute to the company's growth in key sectors like manufacturing, quality assurance, and technology.
You'll also receive structured onboarding, regular coaching, and the opportunity to shadow senior sales staff in the field - all designed to support your development into a future-facing commercial role.
Key Responsibilities
Make targeted outbound calls to generate interest and book appointments
Qualify leads against set criteria and maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce)
Research accounts, map key decision-makers, and identify prospecting opportunities
Support the wider sales and marketing teams in campaign follow-up
Maintain a clean and up-to-date lead database
Prepare reports and dashboards to track progress
Attend occasional shadow visits with field sales for training and development
What We're Looking For
Minimum 18 months of experience in telesales, business development or lead generation
Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner
Proactive, target-driven mindset and hunger to learn
Organised and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Comfortable using CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable)
Understanding of LinkedIn or social selling tools
Clean UK driving licence (required for occasional field shadowing)
