You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor based in the Walsall area operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited and established contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry, delivering non-infrastructure works directly for Severn Trent Water, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Theirmitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and with a strong pipeline of major AMP8 projects, they are actively seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their team.
Your new role
As Electrical Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and delivering electrical works on non-infrastructure water projects
2. Conducting site visits to monitor project progress and resolve potential technical issues
3. Preparing and reviewing documentation, including RAMS and technical reports
4. Developing project scopes and technical specifications
5. Overseeing contractors and suppliers, ensuring worksply with technical, quality and safety standards
6. Supporting project planning, scheduling and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
7. Experience within a project engineering capacity in the water industry, ideally on non-infrastructure projects
8. Good understanding of CDM regulations and knowledge of health and safety protocols
9. Background in electrical engineering
10. Full UK driving licence.
