We’re seeking a dedicated Supporting People Contract Monitoring Officer for a 26-week temporary role to cover a secondment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to housing support services and ensure high-quality standards in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:
* Conduct service reviews of Supporting People Grant, Revenue Grant, and supported housing schemes, ensuring compliance with contracts and Welsh Government standards.
* Manage Tenant Support Scheme (TESS) referrals, update records, and monitor outcomes.
* Assist in reviewing the Supporting People Local Commissioning Plan.
* Maintain accurate computerised records, including audit trails for payments and support services.
* Perform Housing Related Support Needs Assessments (HRS) and update systems regularly.
* Provide reports, statistics, and performance information, including weekly/monthly monitoring reports.
* Conduct client assessments under the Fairer Charging Policy and reconcile payments.
* Represent the team at meetings, deliver presentations, and ensure compliance with financial and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* 2 years of references/work history.
* Experience working with the public, record-keeping, and vulnerable clients (12 months in housing/local authority preferred).
* Knowledge of housing support issues, IT systems, and the Supporting People Framework.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and organisational skills, with IT proficiency (e.g., word processing, housing systems).
* 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent (including Maths and English).
* Commitment to equality, confidentiality, and working under pressure, both independently and in a team.
