The Role
Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our Cleaning team, working with our prestigious clients. If this sounds like you, and you're willing to learn new skills to develop your career, we promise to provide full training and all the support you'll need to help you to succeed.
Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:
Responsibilities
To travel from station to station emptying Hygiene bins wearing the correct Unifor
Increase your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.
Clean the outside
Remove lids and empty
Clean the inside
Replace the bag
Replace the lid and test the bin works
Once all completed, place all into 1 bin
Move to the next station
Take responsibility of the following
Reporting and damaged bins and changing them over
Using only the Yellow bins provided for the waste
Reporting when more bags, cleaning equipment is needed
Signing into all stations as directed
Working to a rota 6 days per week Monday - Saturday
All training is deliveredAll Uniform and PPE issuedTravel pass given to travel between stations
Required Qualifications & Certifications
Full UK Driving Licence – not required but desirable
COSHH Awareness and Chemical Safety Training – essential
BICSc Cleaning Competency Certification – desirable
Enhanced DBS Clearance (undertaken on appointment)
Skills And Experience
Proven experience delivering hygiene deep cleaning services in industrial, rail, or commercial environments.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental regulations.
Ability to diagnose and resolve pest issues efficiently and discreetly.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently, travelling regionally, and managing workload effectively.
Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
